Thing that started to bug me for the past.... long time....
I started to get confused with myself when it comes to my style and i think that also what stops me to move on and work on comic and other stuff with my original characters or with copyright characters :0
It always feel like the things i draw on the computer are NOT what i usually do on paper. The Digital world made me lose my loosened feeling i have because... well you know.... All those temping perfect lines programs offer you and the ability to Ctrl+Z make me lose my personality ;n;
I look at stuff i made for the past year and, yes, ofcourse i know it is minnnneee and i see my touch in it and faces/poses/coloring but It takes me SO MUCH TIME AND ENERGY to create those things while a quick sketch on a paper, that looks the same, takes me 2-5 minutes.
This picture above took me NO time to create and was so much fun! and they all look like the things i draw on papers!
LOOK HOW THE LINE IS FREE AND FLUID! You can tell there was no sketch under it, THIS is the sketch!
Than.. why do i feel like there is some kind of expectation of me not to draw like this... that the lines are not closed and graphic wise something is wrong in here....
"You should just draw the way you love to draw and what ever the hell you want" is always my motto but... i feel like im disappointing someone if i try to be "more myself"
HOLY CRAP i dont know why it suddenly fall on my head because of a Sonic picture haha ;_; Im confused by myself as well as you are if you dont understand what i mean by all what i've just wrote~
But i believe that i want to explore my "normal-not perfect" style more and maybe it will help me to figure myself even more and to do something other than Thinking about a cool idea to draw but scared to fail with it.
